Our first donation :)

My colleagues were enthousiastic right away when I told them we want to collect money for charity projects during our trip. With a soda consumption of around 10 bottles a week, it was decided that I would get the deposit of the bottles, so it would make a good start for our fundraising.

We went to the supermarket with bags full of empty bottles in the last 2 weeks:

Inmiddels is onze eerste 19 euro dus binnen!

So we have raised our first 19 euro! That will buy us a lot of supplies in Nicaragua!

I hope this story also shows that there is no such thing as a donation that is too small. It really doesn’t matter if you want to donate 1 or 50 euro, we are happy with everything! We will make sure every euro goes directly to local projects. We would also like it if you want to help us decide where your money should go to. A school in Nicaragua, protection of wild animals in Africa or maybe a football for children in Asia; let us know and we’ll find a project that fits your wishes.
